Join us on Saturday, September 21 for LGBTQ+ The Next Generation Summit for young LGBTQ+ adults. This one day conference is hosted by the Alcohol & Addictions Resource Center, and local LGBTQ organizations. The LGBTQ+ Next Generation Summit will feature guest speakers and workshops in LGBTQ advocacy, healthy relationships, health and wellness, finding resources at work and school, and many more.

The Summit is free to all through a generous grant from the Indiana Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. The Summit is focused on topics concerning LGBTQ teens and young adults, ages 14-25. A resource fair will also provide an opportunity for these young adults to connect to resources in the Michiana area. Allies are welcome to attend.

Among our many LGBTQ+ workshop facilitators we are happy to feature Jana Shortal, a reporter and co-anchor of Breaking the News on KARE 11 in Minneapolis, MN as our keynote speaker. She has received five Regional Emmys in her career and is a member of the National Association of LGBTQ Journalists. We are excited to present the inaugural summit for the Michiana area.

There is no charge to attend the Summit. Seating is limited so early registration is advised; the first 100 registrations will be guaranteed a T-shirt and swag bag.
