As a parent of an adult substance abuser, you may be struggling—wondering what to do and what not to do. Who do you call for help? How do you find help? What can you do to help your family member recognize it’s time for a change?
The Parent Education Program is a four-session series that helps parents of adult alcoholics and addicts
- Understand the disease of addiction and the process of recovery.
- Helps participants develop a roadmap for change in their lives.
- Provides a safe and supportive environment to address the impact of alcoholism and drug dependence on the individual, the family, physical health and personal relationships.
The next series begins Monday, July 10, 2017, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Classes are held at AARC and pre-registration is required.
