In May 2023, AARC (in partnership with DMHA and the Indiana Youth Group) hosted a virtual training program for youth-serving organizations/individuals and allies of the LGBTQ+ community. The theme was Supporting Mental Health and Substance Abuse Prevention Initiatives for LGBTQ+ Youth, with an introductory section providing a primer on cultural competency and affirming language.

The training was recorded and is now available for FREE and at any time on the AARC YouTube Channel.
